I agree....and for a while I supported the Dream Team of US basketball players dominating teams 137-39 during their olympic runs, but realized I was really only part of the problem and have since seen the err of letting professionals face amateurs in competitive sport.:-(

I'm thinking bigger gloves, headgear, 4 rounds. Khan with his reach and speed would simply have to run and pity pat. Khan probably beats him in a rematch too but that left hook could always land.

They have gone back to using the 10 point must scoring system and no headgear in the ams so that wouldn't be a factor.

Your not , once a boxer goes pro he shouldn't be allowed to become amatuer again

In a forum loaded with more trolls than Jerry Glanville's Pigskin Footbrawl for Sega Genesis, the quiet tension is palpable. We're not used to seeing pro fighters put us in our place in our own game. Wlad will show us the meaning of the word by trolling life.

Frankly, we've had it coming. We thought it was all fun and games watching the Dream Team beatin' up Djibouti and Antarctica by 200 points. It was only a matter of time before it came to this. If you had a Dream Team poster or t-shirt, and don't you f'ing lie about it now, there is no choice but to accept your medicine on this and say "Please sir, I'd like some more".

People don't understand amatuer boxing is changing

There trying to take over pro boxing with wsb and apb boxing

Getting mega stars like wlad to fight in the Olympics will raise the profile of Olympics boxing and encourage more fighters to join apb boxing

Aiba want to basically monopolies pro boxing as well as amatuer boxing just like the NFL and nba

Wlad is still a big supporter of aiba and amatuer boxing and attends a lot of the big tournaments

That's totally different. Everyone in Olympic Basketball sends their pros. Furthermore, having Olympic success is HUGE for a boxer. The same cannot bet said for basketball players.

He's not ''going for'' Gold. He just said he'd fancy the idea.

I wonder what those certain circumstances entail because if I recall correctly only participants of APB/WSB/OSB can jump between the different AIBA styles.
The AIBA website will have the answer somewhere.

If you have under 15 pro fights you are aloud jump back into amatuer boxing and apb and wsb

But I think aiba will make exceptions for big stars when it comes to the Olympics

I knows a rigged game when I see's it. Our amateurs get beat by the Soviets in 1988, and the year after, voila- pro's are allowed! 1992 was bound to be a bloodbath, and we all knew it.
