After beating 27-0 Wach this year. He is looking at a mandatory vs. Povetkin, unless Povetkin is willing to duck again and get striped of his paper title. Then possibly a fight with either Mitchell/Arreola or perhaps if they want to rush it, the IBF eliminator winner between Pulev/Unsitov. Then at the back of the year, it could be vs. Hellinous/Price/Fury, or again maybe his mandy of Pulev/Unistov. Can't imagine any other names sneaking in there ,unless there are certain injuries to either party, or some still need time to build.
Arreola is going nowhere near Wlad. Cristobal is going to get the WBC title giftwrapped to him after Vitaly retires and he will then take a couple victory lap/look at me defenses as the first Mexican heavyweight champion. Mitchell and Fury basically can get a fight with Wlad whenever they want but have shown no interest. As pointed out Povetkin is in the same boat, so who really knows who will end up actually taking a fight with Wlad??? The only fighters calling him out are trainwrecks like Holyfield and Tarver.
I expect wladimir to reign supreme at least a few years more, he will get his decade of domination at this rate, when you look at the division, beside a hail mary punch he will not get beaten in the next few years unless he declines rapidly, therefore I expect him to continiue dominition.
I sincerely hope not. About the only thing i most likely see happening is Arreola getting a chance at the WBC title, winning it, and then milking it for a few fights.
Burger King man. I seen him there, unless that was just some other fat piece of ****. Get in shape ya fat ****!
I think you guys give too little credit to Arreola. Even if he gets the WBC strap,he is a proud man who wants to please the fans. His fans will be clamoring for him to fight Wlad. Arreola is game. He will fight Wlad one of these days-I am quite certain of that.
Arreola vs Mitchel in the summer for the vacant WBC...winner vs Wlad at the end of the year for a big unification on HBO.......that is if Vitali retires/beats Charr I would like to see the povetkin fight and any of the other tall contenders in there too if arreola/mitchel fights dont happen
If "proud" means turning down the last two contracts to wait for a token bauble, handed down from a man who made you cry then Cristobal must be the proudest man ever. I honestly do not like talking crap about professional fighters but Arreola has been shamelessly ducking Wlad in favor of a scripted path of least resistance. Everyone is waiting for father time or another elephant tranquilizer dart to the neck to fell Wlad.
Arreola has been out with a serious arm injury. He is going to fight Bermane Stiverne for a WBC eliminator. Arreola won't be handed the belt anyway. Arreola will beat Stiverne and then fight Charr,Vitali or Haye right?
