Vitali weighs same as he has for years. He keeps the same weight on average.

    FACT:
Vitali won the world military games in Italy in '95 @ 210lbs
He won the silver medal @ WABC in Berlin the same year @ 215lbs
He signed with Universum and made his pro-debut @ 232lbs just 11 months prior to this (He was planned to win the olympic gold but tested possitive and made the leap into the professional ring)

So he went from 210lbs to 250lbs, not a radical weight gain, but by no means normal. He also had a short career if you look at the old timers, he's been tangled with injury after injury.

I'm not trying to put Vitali down, but these are the facts, and he DID TEST POSSITIVE, wether you like it or not, and it's not something the "haters" came up with.

I agree he did test positive...but gaining 40 pounds from the time you haven't even filled out (especially for a guy who is 6'8) to a still fairly slender 250..over a decade...is no evidence of further steroid use. its more laughable honestly. and as for the injuries..the guy has been in 300 fights....give him a break.

This story had been test for many years now. Vitali was given this for an injury. How many fighters are boxing champions and kickboxing champions at the same time? Fighting one kickboxing fight and one boxing fight for so long at superheavyweight? Vitali does not take steroids and that is a fact, like it or not.

It's amazing how you can attest to that with certainty.:think
Again, I am not trying to put Vitali down, I'm just investigating some facts, and roids or not (I'm hoping he was clean the entirety of his career) hes an ambassador for the sport, and a great ambassador at that. Vitali was a remarkable phenom, he really had all the marbles to dominate the division for years to come, unfortunately we all know his body can't keep up w/ the harsh routines anymore.
I personally do believe that the KB career agitated some of his injuries, they are simply a proof of the wear&tear he had back in the days, he certainly must've lived in the gym for all we know!

I'm hoping he does not return to the ring unmotivated, his brother is wearing the family name high, and will do so for years to come!:good

Vlad stays in shape year round. Steward said that he was only worried about Vlad training too hard/always willing to work extremely hard, does not have to push him.
