It's been a while since Wlad has been hit with anything serious from a serious puncher and even if he were to get in the ring with one right now I doubt they'll ever get a clean shot on him.
I think the assessment of the OP stands, his chin might be average but it's behind some serious security, if you want to get to it you have to take out his body first or you'll never touch that chin.

His chin is 'suspect' but well protected.

Thank you for posting the Ross Purrity fight -- I had never seen it in its entirety. Klitschko spent an awful lot of energy firing power shots from Round Six onwards, when the knockout just wasn't there. My personal opinion is that there is no problem with Wladimir's chin -- it seems that his legs go when he gets hit. As for the "flash knowkdowns" against Sanders, it really did look like he had been knocked unconscious by the first knockdown, but incredibly he got up.

Just because I'm an out and proud Klitschko fan doesn't mean I don't think his chin is 'slight'. I thought for what it was worth the analysis was fair, coherent and well defended if not debatable but I didn't think it was worthy of being completely blown off the way that guy did it. :good

Can we live with that? :thumbsup

Wlads chin is rated fairly, certainly not great, his boxing skills are underrated. That fact that he is so hard to finish off now compared to early in his career is proof of that.
God blessed Wlad with a gift Tech Decision against deVarryl as the ref stopped it while DeVarryl seemed to be coming on.
Wlad is good and he's beat some good guys, his power is almost Foremanesque (ALMOST). He is crafty and strong enough to keep a lot of the elite fighters of today from taking advantage of his weakest link (his chin)>
