While everyone talks about Wlad's offense, his defense is pretty good too. Wlad showed head moment, and made Brewster miss when he went at him with wild shots. His right hand is in perfect positon to block the hook too.
And he seems more relaxed in the ring too, though I still think Wlad starts off a bit tight. Regarding HBO's reach, they are way off. It seems like Wlad's arms were much longer than Brewster's. HBO says Wlad's arm length is only 1" longer than Brewsters? Not a chance.
Wlads footwork is based around his footwork. He onlys shifts his head alot while parrying. He knows how to arm block but just doesn't do it much at all. He doesn't have a low centre of gravity, he is quite herky jerky and at that size he won't be as co-ordinated as a smaller man. Given his speed and reach his offence will pretty much tame someone when they open up to get to him. The guys who can tag him are people like Brock, Byrd etc but at somepoint these smaller guys can't take his size. Back in the day if you were big you could soak up what he had then bomb him out. Sanders had the speed to bomb him out before soaking up what Wlad had. Wlad fights much smarter now and as Brewster found out, it's going to be much harder to beat him.
