-More than Sultan I would say. But I think Chageav getting off the canvas early and taking continous punishment to his face against a larger man for many rounds is up to debate. I don't think we are really in a position to question his heart, the guy could have easily quit after getting busted up and dropped so early. -Friday was Mike's sparring partner in Arizona, not a potential protege he was backing for a Title shot. And Tyson wasn't the only one high on Sultan, writers and Jeff Mayweather were also impressed by his speed, aggression, and offensive ability. Even using your own two eyes, his talents were obvious....he just couldn't put together and apparently lacked the drive to continue. Again, another gifted but flawed contender.
I think that Wlad will start to decline in a few more fights actually.... a big man like him i cant see being 'prime' for 8 more fights. We will see though, if anyone can do it its him, great living (as far as we know), great nutrition, always in shape, i hope he can do it. But id be suprised if he doesnt start a decline physically here relatively soon.
Well, he doesn't get hit much, if at all, and he hasn't got involved in any punishing wars. Besides, even in decline, I'd still pick him over all the other heavyweights in this era, including Vitali (who will be even more faded than Wlad).
It wont have much to do with getting hit or being in wars, as much as hes a 6'6'' 240lb man whos had a lifetime of boxing under him, and who I think will be 35 next year, logic says he will start his decline sooner rather then later. If Solis ups his game, Boytsov ups his game, and some other unknown qualities rise to the top, and Wlad does indeed start his decilne towards the beginning of 2012 or so, things could get very, very interesting.
