Imagine if the fight had been held in Roswell, New Mexico....Wlad would have blamed aliens for his loss.
Imo, he spent his wad too quickly from being in a state of sheer panic, which produced a even greater state of panic, it would of started hours before the fight as well as in it. After he spent his wad in the ring he finally came face to face with the reality that Brewster was still standing and his arms and legs felt like cinder blocks and thus he was going to lose. Then I think he collapsed from a semi self induced hyperventilating panic attack after realizing he would lose. Not trying to be a ass to Wlad, the only reason I say this is because I used to have tiny panic attacks before getting in the ring and in the ring when facing guys that were at levels I hadnt mastered before. I just think that's far more likely than the other explanations. I also think that's what happened to Wlad to a lessor degree against Purrity. Other than the amount of rounds there are similarities in both fights. Word on the street is that Steward realized this and helped Wlad greatly with his mental approach leading up to and during his fights. Other than making him less exciting, lol
how could he access medical records? you've not accessed your lawyers records. the onus is on you to do so.
What's his excuse for Sanders then. In my opinion Wlad has never been that good. I've never seen a Wlad fight where I was like man I'm impressed this guy is really the goods. I even went to see him live again Haye and trust me there was nothing there. Wlad often looks a bit shaky even in the fights he wins. Vitali is the better brother by far and Wlad has no really impressive performances on his resume. Wlad is overrated.
I don't have one, I've demonstrated with documented facts and sworn statements from highly qualified and independent medical experts that the thread I've made is correct and true ,why would I have a problem?
She is Chairwoman of the Nevada Athletic Commission and Nevada's Chief Ringside Physician. "Dr. Margaret Goodman, MD is a Doctor primarily located in Las Vegas, NV. She has 32 years of experience. Her specialties include Neurology and Psychiatry. Dr. Goodman is affiliated with Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center" . But hey ,what would she know ?
Im a fan of Wlad, he deluded himself in the wake of the Brewster loss however. He sought to explain his loss with excuses, instead of being a man and admitting that he basically soiled his pants once Brewster landed those huge hooks on him. He started shaking and started looking sick -- that's what people do when they are scared for their life. That's what happened to him. The good thing is he finally abandoned the "I was poisoned narrative" after he - I assume - slowly realized that the loss was his own fault (wrong tactics, gassing out too quickly, no defense, no effective holding, trading toe-to-toe with a smaller man) and wasn't influenced by an outside factor.
After undergoing the two independent series of tests Wlad made no attempt to access them though he was contacted and given phone numbers to call to do so. He failed to pursue his claims that he was drugged,[he originally claimed his food was tampered with,]and quietly stopped accusing nameless people of a conspiracy to get him beaten, he has never with drawn his accusations , nor admitted that he was beaten fair and square. I think that after being badly wobbled by a big left hook in the 3rd round Wlad pulled himself together .In the 4th rd he floored Brewster twice ,though only one was ruled a knock down.Wlad then expended a huge amount of energy trying to get Brewster out of there. As commentator Roy Jones said earlier in the fight if Brewster continues to take these big shot's Wlad's confidence will go. Not being able to finish the job and having thrown a ton of big punches , Wlad may have panicked a bit which would not have helped his physical condition. The punches that Brewster knocked Wlad down with were monster shots no way was he coming back from them. Referee Byrd was also on Wlads case for holding and clinching so he wasn't getting away with so much of that. The fight was fought at a fast pace with a ton of punches being thrown by Wlad. Dr Goodman can be seen with Wlad immediately after the stoppage .Wlad said his head was completely clear when he was in his corner after the stoppage. Larry Merchant can be heard saying "he punched himself out" Here is the fight, you be the judge. In passing I have to take my hat off to Wlad for rebuilding his career after this disastrous defeat ,a career that was in pieces ,his own brother was telling him to retire ,but he believed in himself ,and he has found redemption! Brewster was one TOUGH mofo, I'll give him that. Wlad should have eased off, realised that he's not blasting this guy out and boxed off the backfoot for a while.
