So Mormeck wasn't stopped from throwing punches on the inside? The reason holding is illegal is because fighters can use it to take his opponents game away from him. That's precisely what Wlad did. He didn't allow Mormeck to work on the inside by using a tactic that is illegal.
Who has seen the descendants? There is a strong analogy here in boxing. Boxing is being sold out by the trustees, that is, the current paper champs, because they can make millions doing it. But at the end, boxing will be a joke, gone, under the freight train of ufc. Sure, the Klits, phloyd, pac, will walk away with a mint, but boxing will be destroyed.
I don't think the Klitschkos hurt boxing that badly but I do think there is an issue here. You can't sell 50,000 tickets, give fans an incredibly weak undercard, hold and spoil against a shot opponent and expect boxing to benefit from that. What did the British fans think who watched on Sky? What did the Americans think who watched on Epix? What did the casual fans think who watched in Times Square? What did Australians, Canadians, French etc., think? Does this fight help or hurt boxing? I see no argument that this sort of performance helps boxing. There was a reason fans got so excited about Haye and Chisora. They give the division energy that it is sorely lacking. After another terrible performance, Wlad has, once again, ensured that the interest in the division has suffered.
Afolabi fought for what is probably a World title at CW. Top 10 World ranked giant iron chinned KO machine Ustinov did the business yet again. Not a weak undercard.
What a ****ing idiot you are. This is a cruiserweight fight that took place 5 years ago. Mormeck had Haye down as the film shows yet Wlad who had every single advantage over Haye couldn`t hurt him or put him down.Wlad did however hang on for dear life illegally when he was buzzed by Haye in round 12.
