I couldn't even tell what language he was speaking...I'm assuming it wasn't English but Lennonx wouldn't shut the hell up so I could hear...so I'm wondering does anyone know what he was saying while they were showing highlights of the first fight?? Also Lampley is a moron he can't keep the two ibragimov's straight... Does Lennox really still have Vitali on his mind so much that he can't get through one of Wlads fights without calling him Vitali?
And what the hell was Lampley saying about Wlad unleashing his uppercut? Where **** did that come from and since when Wlad has 'unleashed' any uppercut?????
I'm a huge Wlad fan and I guess he's been working on it but the one uppercut he through could harldy be called unleashing it...Lampley's a pain in the ass, Lewis is still so concerned about anyone being compared to him that he actually announces scared, and Merchant well he'll always be Larry Merchant
Thanks man I kinda figured it would be something like that... If Wlad can make that uppercut a weapon he would be much more dangerous than he is not
Ok, in all seriousness, i only saw 1 (semi-uppercut) by a right hand. What other uppercuts had Wlad thrown in the past? PS: I am a big wlad fan and i think he is the best and i always root for him, however, on the uppercut thing, i think that's something he lacks.
It did seem odd to see him throw the uppercut, yes. But seeing as how his weakness seems to be inside fighting, I think its high time that he gets that uppercut brought into his arsenal. I am amazed that it has taken this long to start using an uppercut. As strong and as much leverage as Wlad has, I imagine a good, fast and well practiced uppercut would be a very destructive punch for him. I bet he could take someone's head off, as the upper pec muscles, are the main powersource for an uppercut, I do believe.
Vitali never used the uppercut too much, either, that I recall. I think he threw a couple against Lewis, and then I recall that he made a conscience effort to bring more punches into his offense for the Williams fight, and used the uppercut against WIllaims with great effect. Not sure, but I think maybe the overall European style is not very dependent on inside, uppercut type punches, but it seems Vitali, and now Wladimir, too, may be making attempts to add the uppercut to their offense.
i thought this was about his entrance music. red hot chili peppers......weak. The man should come out to something epic or at least something that goes along with that ice-cold stare he has and that chili peppers song is simply horrible and entirely unmanly.
not only is it unfitting, but it is unfitting in almost every possible aspect of the man for whom it is used by. Seems more fit for a barrios type of fighter so he can come in with huge sunglasses and crazy bandanas. Not a Ukranian giant who looks like he's carved out of stone, wearing Romanesque attire.
AGree. Wlad should come out to either the theme Bill Goldberg used to come out to, or the theme to Conan the Barbarian. But the Chilli Peppers song takes away from what could be a very imposing entrance. If the song were changed to one that enhanced his Ukranian Giant personna, as you said, his entrance would be much more impressive and effective. The entrance for Austin, with the blacksmith on the elevating platform was very impressive, but the rediculous Peppers songs always seems to take away from the impact of it all.
