Danny Williams is a good puncher, he's sparred with Haye loads of times and he says Haye having a bad chin is a myth....so all you banking on Haye dropping from the first punch he faces from a heavyweight might be left disappointed. No doubt you're all the same people who thought Cotto would get dropped at welterweight.... realizm, Wlad would be too scared to 'punish' Haye. He didn't try and punish a chubby midget, where would he get the bollocks to open up against a 6ft 3 guy with speed and dynamite in both fists?? Wlad wouldn't even try and KO Haye, he'll try and shut him out and it won't work.
people are getting well too far ahead of themselves with haye, the next timme he fights will tell us a lot about him. to say stamina will be his undoing against klitschko ?? klit hasnt the best stamina in the world when hes forced to fight he has poor stamina.i personally view him as a coward ,his fight with iggy appauled me as how terrified he was to such a small heavy who simply could not get near him,if haye gets inside he will ko klit imo
Wlad's jab is a great jab. A great weapon like that CAN'T be a downfall for any fighter, no matter what the opponent's style is.
Glass chin,eh! Were you speaking about Wlad or Haye? Damn! I cant remember whether Thompson stopped Wlad or Haye-hehe! As far as I can remember Wlad only lost by genuine ko to Corrie Sanders,a known banger who is extremely dangerous within the first few rounds. No shame to lose against such an opponent.
Well,I havent seen Haye vs Thompson.According to some posters here Haye ran out of gas against Thompson whereas other posters claim that Haye was stopped because he took too many punches by Thompson. My point is not to belittle Haye or his achievemts, but to point out that Wlad doesnt have a glass chin. Some people seem to believe that the more you repeat a false info the more people believe it. Wlad ran out of gams against Puritty who had been nothing more than a living punching bag in all the round up to the tko stoppage. Wlad vs Brewster? No idea what happened in that fight. As for Haye he is a great fighter-at cruiser weight.Lets wait and see how he fares at heavy! A ko victory against a Polish journeyman doesnt mean that much, dont you think so?
Haye wailed on Thompson. He dropped him and kept hurting him. Thompson was experienced and knew all he had to do was cover up and weather the storm. Haye was letting bombs go and they were clearly not gonna land. He got very tired very quickly and then Thompson started hurting him and the ref stepped in. Haye needed that whooping badly. It made him into the animal he is today.
