I'm more impressed with body punch KOs but I doubt if we will ever see one of those from either Klitschko.

Thus far, Klitschko hasn't had to rely on a gift decision for a win or a draw which is cool.

    Yes absolut.

I was there at ringside. Great performance from Wlad. Chambers took much punishment. But IMO the corner should have thrown the towel after 9 rounds of punishment.

    Great win for Wladimir!

Forgot about Mercer-Morrison...but didn't mention if because it was brutal due to the several blows landed on the ropes because Morrison could not fall. Pac-Hatton was pretty sick too I must agree. And Ann Wolfe's KO of Vonda Ward was nasty...sickest woman's boxing KO I ever saw.

Agreed. When you see a guy, not even rolling around in agony, just motionless, it's scary.

Points taken, but I don't think fatigue had anything to do with him lying there lifeless. He literally didn't move for the first ten or fifteen seconds, that's not a tired man, that's a lifeless man. And plus, right before the KO, Chambers was slipping and weaving like he was ready to run a marathon.

Wlad has power. That punch didn't even look bad compared to the right hands he was throwing (and missing with) during that round. Did you see the ones he was loading up on? If any of those had landed, this might have been a far more somber thread.

Why so much hate? Its not that easy to KO someone especially if they have good defence and a good chin. Chambers fought in 40 fights, never been KD let alone KO'd. Plus it wasnt these TKO that Klitschko has been getting lately. It was a clear KO.
You can't be that blind to not see that it was a hard KO.

I wouldn't call it one of the most brutal. There are worse.

Funny how you round Klitschko up 6 lbs from his weight of 244, but make sure to keep Chambers at 209.:rofl Also, you definitely don't like to mention how that 209 lb "guy" is one of the top rated heavyweights in the world. Also, you like to leave out that in Chambers last fight he beat a fighter (undefeated top contender) who was in inch taller, and about 10 lbs heavier than Wlad. Also you like to leave out how he beat Sam Peter as well... who weighed 21 lbs more than Wlad... since you are so caught up on weight disadvantages. Of Chambers last 4 opponents... Wlad is the lightest. Also Chambers has another quality win over Calvin Brock who tipped the scales at 241. I think you get the point now... somehow none of these other top heavyweights that I mentioned, who weighed just as much or more than Wlad were able to beat Chambers... let alone stop him. Hell... they couldn't even knock him down.

It is. Chambers is a top 5 heavyweight and as far as I know has never even been knocked down.

KOing a heavyweight in a title fight that has never been knocked down in his career is always impressive.

It was an impressive KO because it was so understated, but its effects pronounced. It was just like an effortlessly delivered left hook to the temple, but as soon as it landed Chambers was gone and slumped over like he'd been shot in the head. Remarkable.
