of course it's possible. anything is in this game. but i think he's figured out his chinks in his armour and how to best defend against them. and if he's smart he'll retire before his body starts to slow down making him an easier target. at the moment he definately is in his peak.
I hope you're right. We need someone to unify those belts, all of them, & he seems the most likely candidate.
Have you ever seen Sanders and Peter fight? Doesn't sound like it. The one that's throwing telegraphed haymakers is Peter, Sander (at least used to) throws really short, fast and straight punches, something Peter couldn't do if he would gets Tyson's DNA injected.
Watch the Sanders/Vitali fight again and come back on hear and tell me Sanders doesnt throw haymakers, anytime he got really tired he would throw a wild haymaker looking for it to land somewhere. Peter has improved his punching technique over his last couple fights, he now throws a wonderful jab, and also throws beautiful body shots. Peter does throw overhand rights, which as a rule can look like a wild punch, no different than what Rahman or Bowe threw in there prime. Sanders is not the same fighter as the one that made Wlad his *****, he has gotten fatter and slower since, not to mention older, Peter would put Sanders in a grave at this point in his career.
"Wonderful jab, beautiful body shots" ?? WTF? I think we're talking about different guys. :yep The only punch Peter perfected is the rabbit punch, calling everything other he does in the ring boxing technique is a huge exaggeration.
Give Sam Peter a break, watch the Mccline fight and tell me his jab and body work didnt play a big part in him winning that fight, his lethal body punches gave Mccline a asthma attack in his corner during the late rounds. As much as you hate Samuel, at least give him some credit for improving his punching technique over the past couple fights.
