I'd happily do. I want a champ that makes sure that the most exciting fights happends. Wlad did that right now. And what about Wlads hypocritical talk and squerming around when it comes to the Chisora fight? I honestly don't care. Del Boy did not deserve it even in the first place. Easy come, easy go.
Jisi is right how K2 put it together, hayes had nowhere to go, Momack was who he was in talks with:yep Hayes is a worm thoe, i still see him slithering away
Wlad is trying to fight the best guy out there for the fans. The Chisora fight was a rouse to get Haye to sign. And remember Haye backed out of two fights with the Klitschko's. If Haye hits a trifecta of ducks, Chisora gets his fight in July.
The point is not that people what to see the Haye fight, the point is his behavior towards Chisora. If he didn't what to fight Chisora why bother making the fight?! He didn't have to fight him in the first place. He blatantly pulled out of the first fight so just walk away then. Why reschedule and pull out again? Sorry thats ****ed up. He should have just left the kid alone and sign to fight Haye in the first place. ****ing Mong.
No offence mate, but who cares? Only question you have to ask yourself is, do you want to see the Haye vs Klitschko fight or not. So who cares about the Chisora fight, it would have been a snoozefest anyway. Sure on a human level it is not fair towards Chisora that he gets "robbed" of his title chance but for once in a long time in heavyweight boxing us fans actually get what we want.
Just when you thought they couldn't get more ******ed . . . If you pulled your heads out of Wlad's arse for a second you'd surely see how stupid his course of action is. You're saying that the Chisora fight was a trap to get Haye in the ring? Truly ******ed. Explain this how this trap worked, because to anyone whose vision is not obstructed by Wlad's large intestine, all the Chisora fight did was jeopardise the unification. In January both fighters were ready to sign - terms were agreed, Haye was willing to it go to Germany and was willing to share 50% of his own Sky PPV deal - the fight was all set for July 2nd. This was widely reported. Then Wlad says he wants to fight Chisora 8 weeks before the Haye fight. Haye's camp said no - if Wlad fights Chisora then Haye must fight a mandatory defence instead, so Wlad either doesn't fight Chisora or the Haye fight is scrapped. Wlad signed Chisora meaning the Haye fight was off. Haye had to begin the search for a new opponent. So, just to be clear - you're saying that at a point where the Haye fight was just set to be signed, Wlad agreed to fight Chisora in order to 'rouse' David into the ring, despite him saying that if the Chisora fight goes ahead then the unification fight is off? Really? Not only was the Chisora fight the complete opposite of a 'rouse' to get Haye into the ring, it has also meant that Wlad has had to do a complete 180 degree turn and contact Haye's camp to backtrack and tell them he is willing to pull out of the Chisora fight if Haye still wants to fight on July 2nd. Now it has led to Wlad using fictitious injury to cancel a legally binding contract with another. The main thing is that Wlad realised that he ****ed up the Haye fight by signing the Chisora fight and has taken action to sort it out. That's great on his part. But if it hadn't have been for Chisora then the Haye fight would'e been signed back in Jan and Wlad wouldn't have had to break a second contract with Chisora, which is not a good look and rightly deserves some criticism. To claim the Derek fight was anything other than a **** up or brinksmanship gone wrong is deluding themselves. But as most posters have said - the main things is we're getting the fight. The whole thing has been a bit of a **** of from start to finish, but it does't matter now.
Have to agree with the majority of this, aside from one point. It was mooted all along that Haye would be "promoted" to Super-Champion, which is apparently what's going to happen, with possibly Povetkin vs Mormeck for the regular title. That being the case, Haye ain't going to be making any mandatory....probably never was going to either, further reinforced by the fact that his May date, with SKY, was given away to Frank Warren.
Shaunster, over the next few weeks you will see klit fans say he is GENUINLY still injured. and pulling out vs chisora is nothing to do with haye. its purely co-incidence. a few have started already. disgraceful hypocrisy. Haye pulling out vs wlad was because of money. wlad pulling out vs chisora is coz of money. if you hate on haye doing it last time, you have to blame wlad doing it this time. you cant have one without the other. its really very simple. anyways fight is on. thats all that matters
1. Chisora never deserved this opportunity 2. Chisora never showed any respect 3. The world wants to see Haye v Wlad The only bad thing is Chisora has wasted a lot of time, but he will get a pay out so its all good he can now move on and face Fury.
I'd care more if not for the fact that he "ducked" Chisora...to fight Haye. Sometimes being a backstabbing ******* really is for the best.
