I think Klit will want to make up for the lackluster showing in the Ibragimov fight by being very aggressive against Tony Thompson.

But he won't be overly aggressive against David Haye, as Haye is fast and pwoerful enough to capitolize on mistakes and missed shots.

Assuming the Wlad Haye fight comes off, I see Wlad being cautious in the early rounds, and then turing it up mid to late rounds when he feels he has Haye figured out. Then we'll see the right hands start coming til Haye is on his back.

But given Haye's reputation and skill level, as well as his power, I think the fight will start out cautious and somewhat slow, til Wlad figures Haye's patterns and speed, and how to negate and knock him out.

Or til Haye knocks Wlad out...... LOL

Enzo was asking to be knocked out in that fight, he was stationary, not utilising any movement, not measuring his punches and left his guard wide open. Wlad needs to come in confident and fight his own fight. He gets sucked in to the Haye's a juggernaut hype and he could be to cagey.

thing people write HAYE off as having a slim chance.

NOw im A big fan of WLAD but if my memory serves me well his most devestaing loss came in 2rds at the hands of a 6'4 HW with fast hand a good power. who just came in blasting punches.

now HAye is 6'3 has very fast hands and great power. although sanders was a Southpaw and had a very good chin Wlad didn't even get a chance to get set. plus now i may be wrong but Haye can switch it up if i remmber correctly. IMHO haye will look at the sanders fight and will take that approach and try to get him out in the 1st 3 rds and with that type of attack and his power i say for the 1st 3 rounds it's a 50/50 fight. after that it moves in Wlad's favour. im a fan but Wlad still seems vulnerable in those few first rounds and haye has the style to exploit those vulnubilties and not give wlad's chance to get his motor going.

thats My Opinion at least. cuz after 3 rds have gone by haye is in for a rough nite and a possible crushing KO loss later on.

but haye definatly has a cahnce and a 50/50 on at least in the first 3rds

If Wlad is pissed off, he comes out in destroyer mode and obliterates Haye in less than 60 seconds. If he comes out in regular mode, he takes about 5 rounds. If he comes out in conservative mode, he jabs Haye to death for 7 rounds than drops the hammer in 8.

I think after the Brewster and Sanders losses, and under the guidance of Steward, Klit has went to great effort to establish his jab and left hook as an inpenetrable wall that he uses to keep his opponent on the outside, til he's ready to drop the hammer.

Brewster could not get past it, Austin, Byrd, Brock, etc. He has such a reach and size advantage, along with good movement, and that accurate and powerful jab, that his oppoenents don't really have too many options in fighting him. Quickly move inside his range and counter his missed right hand, that is about their best bet.

Sanders punches harder than Haye and is also a southpaw, given Sanders consistency Wlad also probably underestimated him.; this wouldn't happen with Haye. Not forgetting that Wlad is a lot more schooled in the art of defense now. I would not rule Haye out but clear advantage goes to Wlad in my book.

and the one quick enough to do it is haye haye will come out and agressivly in the first 3 rds after thatit all klit. but if haye can hurt him in the first few rounds it cmore then likely will be trouble but i got faith in wlad im just stating the obivious

Show up. Then just knock that hype job out cold. He really dont even have to tweak anything. Haye would have to sell out to get to him and he will get first hurt and put down by a power jab. Then finished off by a overhand right. Withing the first 2 rounds.

absolutly and i know sanders is a Southpaw but haye can switch it up i say fist 3 rds its 50/50 after thats it's all wlad. but i can almost garuntee you if this fight gets made haye will sanders approach.and yes more then likely sanders hit's harder then haye but we don't know for sure just yet. but we do know is haye more then likely has the punch to put wlad on his but or at least stun him

The fact that he is the favorite as the fight wears on is a testament to his improvement in his stamina over the last few years.

Not long ago, it would have been thought that he would be less likely to win as the rounds wore on, given his percieved lack of stamina. But that's been dealt with corrected, and now his stamina is no longer an issue, and he seems to always be the favorite if the fight wears on. :good

The problem with Haye attacking Wlad for the first three rounds, is Haye attacking Wlad for the first three rounds. To attack Wlad, you have to get close to him, and that puts you in danger. Does anyone really think Haye is going to be able to aggressively jump on Wlad and keep that aggression up for three rounds without getting any return fire? I don't think so. If Haye tried that, he would quickly learn that Wladimir has massive power in his short hooks as well as his longer ones. Look at what happened to Monte Barrett when he tried fighting Wlad inside. He got bounced off the canvas six times with short hooks! Wlad also throws a very deceptive body punch that's sort of an upper cut but to the chest. He hasn't done it since the Mercer fight, but prior to that, he would use it frequently. The thing is, nobody since the Mercer fight has fought him at a close enough range to fall prey to that punch either. To sum it up, it's stupid of Haye to think he's going to jump Wladimir and ko him inside of 3 rounds. That simply can't and will not happen.

HE needs to be on the front foot against haye, if Haye backs him up he's getting badly KO'd in this one
