    Thompson was higthly rated in the ring ratings and every boxing sites, between 5 to 7. thats a good win.

    His win over Barrett. Considering Barrett is STILL a spoiler...Wlad took him apart like no one has. Made Barrett look like a stepping stone.

    - Barret never beat Wlad...

    - Both Peter and Brewster was condidered the most dangerous fights for wlad at the time they were fought and Byrd was rankied #1 HW both times he beat him... Peter and Brewster both were known KO artist and with wlads "china chin" they were suppose to have a good chance of knocking wlad out....

    - Wlads last seven fights have been against The Ring top 10 fighters, and around 14 overall Top ten fighters in his career with a 90% KO avg..

    - 12-2 In world title bouts with 10 KO's

    - Rachman, Mccall, Ruiz, Holfield would easily get smashed by wlad, tony thompson was concidered by the press better than those guys currently...

    What he has lacked is his one legendary victory. His Peter victory was huge because he got up from 3 knock downs to dominate the second half of the fight, his destruction of Brewster - the man that last KO'd him - was a great TKO win.. Even his two wins to get two titles against Byrd and one-punch KO's of Brock and Thompson were good, but he needs DAVID HAYE TO WIN A TITLE AND THEN WLAD NEEDS A BIG KO VICTIORY OVER HAYE AND POVETKIN IN '08 '09....

    He got revenge and Brewster was not shot. After beating Wlad he destroyed Golota and koed two other opponents. Wlad beat him fair and square. Everytime Brewster ryed to pressure Wlad he got countered. Wlad would Jab him land right straights clinch or circle around him. Wlad outclassed him.

    Brewster was beat up in his last fight, had a year layoff, and had an eye injury that almost ended his career. He didn't have any of the hunger that he had prior, evidenced by his face between every round and him quitting on his stool. Before this, Brewster would sooner die than quit on his stool.

    Saying he still had something left is absurd, and without Brewster knocking Wlad out he'd have nothing on his resume anyway.

    Brewster destroyed Golata. Plus in Brewsters last fight he was very competitive and dropped his opponent. Wlad is the better fighter plain and simple. If Brewster was shot he would not have been so competitive in the fight before he rematched Wlad.

    Brewster was competitive but he was beaten up and lost by a pretty wide margin. All of the wars Brewster had been in had taken their toll on him.

    Once again, Brewster had a seriously damaged eye that required surgery that inhibited him, hadn't fought in a YEAR, and lost in a slugfest in his last fight. The Liakhovich bout was the final straw.

    I never stated Brewster is better than Wlad either, actually read my posts.

    I guess he should fight Ross The Boss as well, that would obviously be a career defining fight because it would be "revenge." :lol:

    Funny guy. No that would really be silly. I mean that fight was like 8 years ago. A Corrie Sanders Rematch could be entertaining. He old also, but you never know what can happen in the ring. Foreman vs Moorer was unexpected.
