    • 1998-12-05 KO loss to Ross Puritty
    • 2003-03-08 KO loss to Corrie Sanders
    • Hires Emmanuel Steward
    • 2004-04-10 KO loss to Lamon Brewster
    • 2006-04-22 Wlad wins a paper HW title from a guy who turned pro @ 169lbs
    • 2013-12-15 Wlad's cheif rival retires without the two ever having fought
    • 2015-11-28 WIDE UD loss to Tyson Fury

    And we're supposed to believe this guy is a top 5 ATG @ HW?

    This is a flat out lie. The only way a new lineal champ can be crowned is by beating the current lineal champ or when the top two contenders meet to fill the vacant lineal title. Neither condition was satisfied until Wlad beat Povetkin. That gives Wlad 3 title defenses. Sell that snake oil somewhere else...

    I was never a fan of Wlad's style (post-Mercer) but he stayed on top for a decade and beat all the top contenders. He earned his place in history.
