Me too Sangria, I just wish Mitchell was about 10 years younger & in the same position! With Mitchell's style, i'm worried he could turn Physically Past-Prime any moment now.
On a bomb for bomb basis comparing single full-force powerpunches thrown, i'm pretty confident in my opinion. Anyway, it's the punches you don't see which do the most damage, & it's Haye who can land the unseen, fast & deadly variety, not Arreola. Arreola is very much an accumulation-puncher who grinds & wears down his handpicked loser victims. Don't get me wrong though 'Ears, I do enjoy watching Arreola fight, with all his constant aggression & come-forward, block punches with his face action.
I agree with this:good...well said too..and i think it's about time that Vitali should think seriously about retiring..and somehow I think he;s smart enough to do so very soon.
I don't even like Wlad much, but he dishes out a career ending beating on Arreola. Look how much he was sent back after Vitali. Feasted on bums for the best part of 2 years. He's not had a meaningful fight since Adamek and we know what happened there. Not sure why many are overrating Arreola again, he's overachieved and is not much of a step better than a club fighter. He'll give a good account of himself, but he's got nothing in his locker to trouble Wlad, nothing at all. Wlad would be a harder fight than Vitali. Vitali is a little more reckless than Wlad and still Arreola couldn't land a glove on him, couldn't even get in range. Against Wlad's long jab and piston right hand?? I'm sorry but he would receive a pizza face and a career ending beating.
I think Areola needs to take it slow, fight some low-ranked guys, guys with losing records, past-prime journeymen, etc. If he plays his cards right he could make a step up in competition in 3-4 years. There is no need to rush the kid.
Fair enough, but who's Arreola best stoppage victim? :think Ok... scratch that, i know Haye stoppage nobody except Shot Ruiz.
