WNFs Vs World Soccer

The only way I can go to a baseball game is if I bring my bong with me and play frisbee or hackysack the whole time:rasta

I skipped boxing for the Lakers.

 

I went to a baseball game once. I never went back. Most boring **** ever. Soccer is even more boring cept the chance of a riot is higher.

Soccer can be iffy in many respects. Sort of like boxing, if you have two defensive masters in the ring that are afraid of taking chances you end up with a boring fight:deal
Same goes for Soccer(football), I've gotten into it more since playing Winning Eleven for PS2

 

I just recently got back into football(NFL) in this last year, it's the only other sport besides boxing that makes me happy. Lol. It's never really boring.


As for soccer(futbol) I honestly dont care for it much but ending of games are fun or playoffs. Kind of like basketball to me.

I'm an ok soccer player, can't fight my way out of a paper bag though.

I won't miss any moderately big event in either. I took time off work to watch some of the African Nation's Cup earlier in the year, I'd do the same for the upcoming Euro's except all the matches kick off after I get home in the evening so there's no point.

Beyond that, I'll watch almost any sport. Of the popular American sports my faves to watch are:

1. American Football
2. Basketball
3. Baseball
4. Ice Hockey

 

It's all a matter of where you grew up I suppose.

Soccer/Football used to be a great and tough sport, it has been ruined by the over paid prima donners that have no affinity with the fans anymore who cheat and dive.

I find that basketball is the gayest sport on the planet though...especially after players have thrown the ball and are all limp wristed.

Cricket is a superb sport which requires much more finesse than baseball.

 

So do I. I was SO pissed last night when I was trying to watch WNF and they had that stupid soccer game on. WTF!!!:fire

 

Baseball is the worst. I'd rather watch a soccer over baseball any day of the week. The last time I went to a baseball game we didn't even go to our seats for the whole game we ended up at the bar getting drunk and didn't even watch the game on the TV monitors they had in the bar.

Being American I find soccer boring as hell. Plus I Tivo'd WNF's only to find that I missed most of the last bout due to the game.

 

Although I'd rather watch Soccer than Hockey.

 

Yeah hockey is pretty gay. I actually enjoy all sports but I guess I have just nto given hockey a chance. Luckyly for me I recorded the gatti fight after WNF so I got all of the boxing.

 

Indeed. Soccer is about as boring as it gets. I'd rather watch paint dry.
