I certainly do. imo both fighters are ATG's easily. hopkins proved last night that he still has the same hunger, the same physical attributes at age 43 (almost 44) that he had when he was 28. i had a feeling he did, i mean he looks great for a 43 year old, he doesnt smoke or drink, he eats well (as he is a muslim).

last night hopkins fought like he was in his prime. i knew hopkins still had the physical side of things but i wasnt sure he had the hunger. i would never have thought that he would beat pavlik so easily. this fight not only makes hopkins go higher in the all time rankings, but also it makes calzaghe go up in the all time rankings.

i see two big fights for both calzaghe and hopkins, if one of them wins both of the fights, he will go down as one of the greatest fighters alongside robinson, duran/ pep and other great fighters like hagler, leonard etc.

if calzaghe wins against roy jones jr, i think this fight should be made, the winner then faces chad dawson, after that they could retire and never worry about their legacy :deal
btw- HOPKINS IS AWESOME and what you saw tonight is a blueprint of what mayweather would do to margarito, at first i thought margo would steamroll mayweather, but hopkins has made the blue print on how to beat tall, rangy and powerful pressure fighters.

    thoughts?

Nah, it's an ugly fight and I think we learnt all we needed to learn in the first one. Hopkins is a very tricky puzzle that Calzaghe managed to figure out. I think in a second fight, you'd find Calzaghe a little less aggressive in terms of coming forward and letting Hopkins come to him on ocassion.

I'd rather see Hopkins tidy up Taylor if Taylor beats Lacy. Just knock that bug bear out and be done with it.

Calzaghe, well, if he doesn't retire after this, Dawson is pretty much the only other option he has.

I do, but neither guy wants the fight, Hopkins knows he cant beat Calzaghe, and Calzaghe knows another fight with Bhop will just make him look bad.

I thought Bernard won there match, althought he didnt throw enough punches he landed the cleaner more effective shots, he put Joe down in the first round, Joe threw more punches which caught the judes eyes but those shots were being blocked on the forearms and elbows of B-Hop. Yes I would love to see Calzaghe-Hopkins 2 but probly will not happen as Joe is retiring after the Jones fight.

Nope, Dawson is the man for Calzaghe, assuming he dosen't **** up against Jones. The only people who want to see this fight are the people who believe Hopkins won the fight against JC. JC v Dawson is the fight to make.

Not me, Hopkins has his gameplan to beat fighters and he showed how he thought he could beat Calzaghe and it didnt work. I think his gameplan would be similar due to Calzaghe's style. The first fight was not a good spectacle.

Credit to Hopkins yesterday that was a masterful performance. What a fighter.

I agree Hopkins took Joe to school just like he took Kelly Pavlik to school last night.
