What fighters were wobbled by jabs and on the flipside what fighters were good enough with jabs to pull off such a amazing feat? I don't always find it indicative of a extremely weak chin. A jab can snap the head to either side just as violently as a number of other punches. Anyhow... Larry Holmes knocked Ossie Ocassio down hard with a jab. I think it was against Mike William's that Buster Douglas floored 3 something times, all with jabs. Unbelievable. Aaron Davis stunned Mark Breland badly with hard jabs multiple times. Amir Khan was wobbled in his last fight with a jab. Ezra Seller's nearly floored Alex Stewart with a jab.
Simon Brown's jab made Terry Norris's legs turn to spaghetti. I might up it to youtube, just for comedy's sake.
Nothing against him, but not a fan either. I just found it humorous that a past his prime welterweight wobbled him with a jab.
I always found it hilarious that a Tyson jab smashed some of Mitch Green's dental work out of his mouth to the outside of the ring.
Lennox Lewis knocked Morrison down with a jab, Vitali Klitschko knocked Herbie Hide into rigor mortis with a jab.... and to make the circle complete, Lewis stunned Vitali with a great jab.
The one that did immediately spring to mind was the aforementioned fight on the Tyson v Spinks undercard between 1987 Most promising fighter of the year... Mike Williams from Texas against everyones favorite dangerous and avoided Journeyman heavyweight James Buster Douglas.. The scenario was to have been Mikes coming out party where they would unveil the new generation heavyweight contenders.... Mike started well but just when he started to look lively .. WHAM he was hit clean by a jab and took a flash knee, later he did a copy of the same move Jabs from the very strong Douglas were hurting Williams visually.. and at the finish once again a jab set up a bevvy of shots that had Mike felled and rescued .. The script was ruined by a man who would soon re write another Mikes plans (Tyson) The other prospects on that card incidentally were all seen off later in Tysons career by stoppage.... Razor Rudock v Reggie Gross (both Tyson victims) Carl Williams v Trevor Berbick (both once again Tyson KO victims..) Mike Williams was actually sacked by team Tyson for blackening Tysons eye in a very heavy duty sparring session where Williams got too big for himself and tried to Own the show... The Tony Tucker fight i think....
Ahh hell, it's out of sync with the audio.... Sorry about that. Decided to leave in that little clip of Chavez getting ready for his fight just to show a nice little contrast in chins
