PAWEL WOLAK TO FACE CHAVEZ JR DECEMBER 4!!!! HERE IS WHAT WOLAK HAD TO SAY ABOUT THE FIGHT http://www.gardenstatefightscene.com/2010/11/wolak-fills-in-for-gomez-to-battle.html
Wolak is real durable, and tough, and has a real great chin and stamina. This fight will defiantly last the full 12 rounds, weather or not Wolak pressures him to a UD win, is his decision.
"About three weeks ago, I hyper-extended my left arm while I was sparring while I was throwing some left jabs," explained Gomez to 411mania. "I didn't think much of it so I just iced it as usual and took a few days off from sparring. After a week or so it started to feel better so I started sparring but then it began to hurt again. Stuff like this is usually routine during a training camp but the pain wasn't going away and my team urged me to see an orthopedic surgeon in Santa Monica," continued Gomez. "Luckily they didn't find anything wrong with the bone but an MRI revealed that I had torn a ligament on my left elbow. I asked the doctor if there was anything he could give me, being that it was so close to the fight and he said a cortisone shot would help the pain but I would risk further injuring my arm and require surgery."
Next bs termin, they were set to fight twice, and now again it's only pressure against "daddyboy" Chavez next opponent.
