I don't get it either? It's not like women are now going to go around country side challenging men to fist fights because ones in a great while a woman beats a man in a fight:-(

I watched it and that was a legit hard counter hook that had the slugger out. I don't have much of a machismo ego but it hurt my conscience to see the guy goin at her - they would have to force me into the ring with her and I'd probably let mysef be knocked out before anything else. I do enjoy seeing the boxing skills of some women, actually I am after that Holly Holms - Jane Couch fight tape for quite some time now...

Come on guys get off your high horses, boxing began with two man fighting bare knuckle in front of screaming mob, it's not some high minded enterprise, it a blood sport, a spectacle like some thing out of Roman coliseum, man vs woman bouts fit right in:hey

You really are a pathetic ass fan:good

That's a sad ass perspective and if that's ALL you see in Boxing? Then why arent you at a dog fight or local pit fight instead of wasting you're time in forums??

Woman vs Men's Boxing is a disgrace, farce, and sad, sad joke. ABSOLUTE ****!!!!

Hey I like all kinds of fights that is between humans be boxing,MMA Kickboxing wrestling and even stuff like Felony fights. Sure boxing is sport but it grow out of the blood lust of a mob to see a fight and that the truth, the spectacle came before the sport:nono

It might have come BEFORE, but learn to seperate the difference:good

Spectacles are EVERYWHERE, if you enjoy em, its you're right, but this Man vs Woman **** is a DISGRACE to the sport. Anyone involved with setting it up or promoting it, who has even one ounce of conscience and understanding should back away from that ****. ITS ****ING PATHETIC!!

Its a SHAM! This woman ISNT competing with the TOP MEN, she's getting hurt, maimed, or killed, so why perpetrate the idea??
Let her fight WOMEN, I'll respect it and watch.

no, as a fighter i have to have stupid confidence...i have to be delusional, i have to think that i beat any and everybody on the planet just to have the right mindset when i step into the ring...if i don't think this way i'm nothing in combat...

Truth is women need to fight men at times if woman boxing is too grow there are just not that many top elite female fighters out there. Take Laila Ali she only 4 top woman to fight
    # 1 Natascha Ragosina
    # 2 Ann Wolfe
    # 3 Leatitia Robinson
    # 4 Mary Jo Sanders
Thats about two years worth of fighting then whats she gonna do? retire, the only way for her too grow as fighter would be fight male club fighters.:nono

He's another superstitious type...once tried to argue something silly like with the right mentality, a cruiserweight like Ding could beat any heavyweight in history. The 'power of positive thinking' has no scientific bearing what-so-ever! "Getting pumped" or "psyched" - it's a placebo effect...100% superstition. It's okay to respect your opponent and acknowledge there are ways they can potentially beat you! That's called being smart and cautious...that actually helps you avoid losing!

I completely agree with you. It's a FARCE. I'm all for women's boxing, but this is just a sideshow, and yes, very much straight out of the WWF playbook that has given us UFC and other *******izations of this fine sport.

I'm all for women participating in boxing - against each other. Having them fight against men is nothing short of a carnival freakshow. Hopefully there will not be more of these sorts of absurd matches.
