... i dont want a discussion of whether it should be allowed or not, I just want to know if its any good? can anyone recommend any fights? I understand its not at the same level as men's but I do find it a bit strange in this day and age that its never shown on tele or talked about at all. Is it all becuase its just a bit **** to watch?

Only female boxers who have ever impressed me were Lucia Rijker (sp) and Anne Wolfe.

Laila Ali is talked about as being the best female boxer ever but in reality she failed to fight anyone with a pulse and ducked her rivals.

Don't know tbh .Wouldn't mind if it was a couple of the top olympians Katie Taylor Nicole Adams but tbh I don't think women are suited to the pros genetic wise .Watch Holy Holmes head heavy snapping back .

I like Women and I like boxing so put the two together and we're on to a winner right? Wrong. I just can't get into it. It's slightly better when they wear headgear but even still I find it a bit iffy.

Yeah not good to watch at all, put them in bikinis cover them in baby oil and let them wrestle. Far more entertaining

I'm not sure if it was a wind up but Jane Couch reckoned she was going to coach Kelly Holmes for the Rio Olympics, I'd like to see that happen. I thought Taylor and Adams were excellent in London, they really deserved to showcase their talents imo, why not?

Just seen this on the Irish boxing website .

The pound for pound Queen of professional boxing, Holy Holm is keen to make a ‘big fight’ with Olympic Gold Medallist Katie Taylor.
