Yeah Not a bad card at all.

Carina Moreno scored a virtual shootout over Eileen Olszewski

Holly Holms won by wide UD. Which was absurd. The fight was closer.

Wendy Rodriguez was give a gift decision against Dunaway who basically won every round.

The third fight was actually really good but I can't remember their names. In any case the black girl won.

BTW Carina Moreno's single loss is total BS. She was winning the fight at the time of the stoppage (stopped for a cut on Wendy) but Wendy was given the decision by the hometown judges.

Do you have a copy of the fight? Rodriguez is from LA, but the fight did not happen there, so how was it that she got a hometown decision? I'd like to see it myself.

I am VERY opposed to fights being stopped on cuts. I think they are stopped way too often. Very RARELY is a stoppage for a cut actually medically necessary.

I stayed up to 6am UK time to watch it.

First up was Carina Moreno v Eileen Olzewski. This was an excellent boxing display from Moreno who is one of the P4P female fighters. She totally dominated every round and I had it 100-90 the same as two judges. Olzewski was tiring by the midway point (possibly to do with the venue being at altitude).

Second up was a rematch between Hollie Dunaway & Wendy Rodriguez which was another good fight. Dunaway totally dominated and I had it scored 98-92 for Dunaway. Somehow thought the judges saw a different fight and gave it to Rodriguez which was absurd. Dunaway was faster more active (and hotter too) than her opponent and totally outboxed her moving round the outside and coming in throwing fast combinations.

In the third fight which was very entertaining Chevelle Hallback took on unbeaten Jeannine Garside in what was billed as a female Gatti-Ward. From the first bell the two fighters went at it Hallback throwing wide haymaker punches which did land, at time to great effect and Garside with the more accurate but seemingly less powerful shots. As I suspected the more experienced Hallback hurt Garside a few times and eventually won a close decision. I had it scored 96-94 for Hallback.

In the main event Unbeaten Mary Jo Sanders took on Holly Holm for the title of best P4P female fighter. And as I suspected the speed of Holm was just too much for Sanders to handle. Holm was extremely fast and moved very quickly round the outside and then suddenly springing forward landing a barrage of quick shots before tying up Sanders and then the referee would seperate them and Sanders would try in vain to not pin her down and land telling shots.
Holm did seem to tire in the later rounds and Sanders came back and for me won a fair few of them. i had the fight alot closer but still had Holm winning 96-94.

All in all I thought it was very entertaining. I had never seen any of these fighters before but it was well worth stayng up for.
