Opponent was also making his boxing debut but he had some prior kickboxing and MMA matches. I was nervous about hour before match but as the match come closer I got in the zone. Then in the match I was first troubled with his southpaw stance but after getting outboxed for first minute, I nailed him couple of haymakers in the body and dropped him with a straight right hand. I thought it was balance knockdown but he was messed up and I tried to finish him off. However I let him off the hook and proceed to slug for rest of the round. In third I had him hurt but again failed to finish him off. I pretty much forgot everything I have learned when the match started and just brawled **** out of the guy. Anyway it was great experience. I just hope I would have started to box sooner in my life (im 27) as I have great passion for the sport. Any advices how to keep it in together while waiting the match and actually using learned stuff in the match? Anyone has similar experiences?
