Honestly ,I who saw them fight in their prime in Philly in 1948, did not remember that Ike Williams kod Beau Jack in their last fight of their great careers,as late as 1956...Ike just had Beau Jacks number...Good post Bukkake...b.b.
I was pretty sure, that if anyone thought of Williams-Jack straight away, it would be Burt... as I know you saw them both, and think very highly of Ike.
Same thing happened with John Mugabi. But he was the top ranked jr. middle for a long time before he got his title shot.
