    I was an in an outer,so to speak .i won a title by koing a legend.Than lost my title to someone else. Than i regained my crown from my conquerer,only to lose it to another fighter. But today i would hold a title
    again. Who am I ?

    Depending on who you consider a "legend", this could be several fighters.
    I would certainly think that Archie Moore is in this category...
    So Floyd Patterson could be one possible answer.

    H,of course you nailed it! Jimmy Carter [where have I heard that name before?], upset the fading Ike Williams ,by ko in the 14th rd in 1951. Then
    Carter lost his LW title to Paddy De Marco in 1954,whereupon he beat DeMarco to regain his crown in Nov,1954. only to lose his title again to Wallace bud Smith in June,1955...Musical chairs, methinks...:good
