Wonder why the Pacquaio vs Clottey fight happened so fast??? Are we the fools?

Don't give me that bull**** "REAL boxing fan" argument. I'm definately a real boxing fan and this is not a good fight. There is no significance to this fight, and I don't believe Clottey has a realistic shot at winning. I see no reason to shell out $50 for this fight. This would be an acceptable fight in my view if it were on regular HBO.

It's fun to shell out $50 for a fight where you know the outcome? Clottey will never get a close decision, and I highly doubt he can knock Pac out. The only way he can win is to dominate Pac and win a wide decision. The chances of that happening are slim to none. This is a meaningless fight with a predictable outcome.

Dawg! I said the same ****! Arum REALLY wanted the fight to be in TX and when Floyd said NO....he threw a hissy fit and removed himself from the negotiations....now all the sudden there is a fight where Arum wanted and unfortunately Floyd ain't on the card. Arum always wanted the fight for Manny to be in Dallas after rubbing shoulders with Jones. But I think Josh was an excellent choice for Manny to defend his WW title. Clottley is big, strong, experienced and a threat....definitley not a fight where PAC is the only logical choice as the winner......

 

This could have been the plan all along. I think Arum knows Pacquiao can't beat Floyd. It's strange how fast he came up with this fight immediately after they pulled out against Mayweather. Pacquiao fans will forgive this, because they're not real fans to begin with. They don't understand or refuse to except that Pacquiao has lost his credibility. Real fans are disappointed that the real fight isn't happening, but most of Manny's fans seem to be relieved.

 

March 13th and Jerry Jones and Arum probably already had a deal. Blame Team Mayweather for not wanting the fight in Dallas.

 

I think Arum knows PAC can beat Floyd but also knows Floyd could outpoint pac with his style. The fight with PAC vs Manny REALLY began to hit the bricks AFTER Floyd rejected the fight being held at THe cowboys stadium. THen all the crazy requests for drug testing and weight penalities came to surface.

PAC's repuatation for what it's worth has taken a hit....and that is due to the false allegations that the Mayweathers spread...but even with the hit....PAC's rep and respect in this sport is held with higher regard than that of Floyd. ALL fans are sore about this fight being made....even *******S.....even FLOYFAGS. THis was a GREAT fight that will still be made but its not happening in March.

 

Arum really wants to keep everything in house and freeze outsiders out so he can make more money. He's always ruining big fights and its about time people are starting to take notice.

 

GBP Mosley and GBP Money May are in house. Why aren't you complaining about that?

many people think Clottey was the winner against Cotto so is it not right that manny fight Clottey now?

do you know why? coz theyre tired of negotiating with the mayweathers. theres a lot of opponents out there not just mayweather... if mayweather cant find a decent fight then that means mayweather needs pac rather than pac needs him.

 

Clottey's defense is far better than Cotto's and he has demonstrated a good chin. Pac will not be knocking out Clottey.

At first I thought Pac/Cotto was 50/50 but after watching the 24/7 and seeing that Cotto didnt have much of a plan other than "pac has never felt someone with my strength" which was the same plan Hatton and DLH had, I picked Pac to win. Clottey will be planning on a 12 round fight which is what you need to do to beat Pac.
