Arum has a good stable of WW fighters, Cotto/Clottey/Margarito, and he's much happier matching them against each other then he is putting them against outside fighters.

Now he has a new superstar entering the division and so making as many fights between them as he can.

Don't be surprised if you see a Pac/Margarito fight at some stage.

 

as soon as mayweather said he wouldnt fight in texas arum knew that fight with him was off for now...Jerry Jones offered too much money to arum and he didnt wanna share any with golden boy so he found clottey, one of his own fighters and knew hed be able to cash in on both of them and keep all the money in house..As soon as jerry jones offered up his venue and the cash...Arum never had any intention of havin manny v mayweather he just wants all the cash to himself

 

Arum didn't waste any more time deliberating whether or not Mayweather's intentions were to actually fight pacquiao. He decided that Mayweather was simply wasting the time of everyone involved. Whether or not he was correct remains to be seen. But, if anyone is familiar with Mayeather's M.O., it's Bob Arum...

BTW, who cares. Enjoy the match-ups made without Mayweather. he is a non factor in the eyes of anyone who truly cares about the sport. Mayweather is perfectly content holding the sport of boxing hostage just to get what he wants. Thank goodness Bob Arum isn't.

the size of the stadium is a lot larger then anywhere in vegas the most modern stadium in america right now would be awesome for a fight especially of the magnatude of what it would of been.
