Was just dominated and wobbled by Gilbert Burns, Woodley looked like he had no clue and didn't want to be there, if he can't land that right hand and is getting hit back he goes into a shell.

Burns is legit, throws straight hard punches and has a hell of a ground game. he may have leap frogged a few pretenders today.

He was tentative, afraid to throw in fear of getting countered, and couldn't handle the constant pressure. Woodly's days are done at the top of the food chain.

I can't stand Woodley. He has been VERY VERY fortunate in his career and somewhat overrated imo. Beat Condit due to a Condit leg injury early in the 2nd rd. Who really knows what would have happened in that fight. Then easily gets outclassed by Rory MacDonald followed by a 2 fight win streak then holds out for 18 months whinging to get a title shot. He only had a 2 fight win streak ffs.

Stops Lawler to win the belt. Fair play to him but by that stage Lawler had been in war after war after war. Woodley then imo doesn't win either of his defences against Wonderboy and fought backing up doing nothing for 8.5 out of the 10 rds. I thought fight 1 was a draw and fight 2 Thompson won imo. Then easily beat Maia playing it safe on the feet and destroys Till who had got a title shot after losing to Thompson (yes he lost that fight it was a robbery) and stopping a lightweight in Cerrone. Till should have been nowhere near a title shot.

At this point in his career IDIOTS were saying that Woodley was challenging GSP for the title of the best welterweight of all time. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

Woodley then losing his belt in one of the most pathetic displays I have ever seen by a champion defending his crown.

Now Woodley is completely outclassed by Burns he has looked very good lately himself.

I found it hilarious how TWICE in rd 5 desperately needing a finish we see Tyron wall' n' stall. UNBELIEVABLE but not surprising with Woodley.

Is the classic fighter condition you feel like you can but when you get in the fight you cant pull the trigger it is time to retire he has nothing to prove..... he is past peak.....he more than likely will continue and have success like Anderson Silva and others which is the cruel part those little successes will lead him to believe if he tweaks this or that he will be on top again.....his team and thd UFC will ride his star into the ground

When I quit fighting I went through withdrawals for years thinking I still had it....I dont kniw of any fighter who doesnt feel themselves still able and always on the verge of coming back.

Never was a fan of Woodley as a fighter as well as seeming like an arrogant *****.
He's fortunate to have outside interests that are taking some of his focus and attention and it won't be long before he retires,if he hasn't decided to already after that arse kicking he took
