Well it will be good for him to have one last fight, in front of his home crowd.
He is at least 3 fights away from another world title shot.

I think eh should go for the british title, he only needs 1 more defence to keep the belt, would be a good way to go out.

tbh tho watching woods puts me to sleep.

The performance in the Tarver fight indicated that he'd already retired beforehand...

Would love to see him have one more fight in Sheffield against a decent opponent. Any chance at a crack at the Euro belt?

Considering it'S now vacant I'd say a good one .
Clinton is ranked #1 by the EBU but Stipe Drews was the mandatory to Barashan so that could be mandated for the vacant title .

Woods is #4 by the IBF , with the #1 and #2 spots vacant so he could get an eliminator there if he wanted .

Or he could take on the winner of Tony Oakey and Dean Francis for the British and Commonwealth titles .

He looked worryingly shot against Tarver. Completely gunshy, as if he didn't fancy getting hit anymore. I saw some real bad signs in there

Win the lonsdale belt outright and call it a day

He looked awful last time out but then again he looked awful all the time he was in America including the build up. I think he can give another decent performance at a lower level and like I said I would love to go see him fight once more in Sheffield. A Euro opportunity would be great but I would favour an easy comeback fight and then a crack at that or below that the winner of Oakey and Francis. He may be shot but I think he should have one chance to prove otherwise.

He didn't even give it a go against Tarver. I don't think I will bother watching Woods anymore.
