Because Rios provides for fireworks. Bradley fought defensively vs both Pacquiao and Marquez in fights where many fans thought Bradley lost.

Bradley is definitely much better than Rios, but he's not the more exciting fighter.
Plus there was the intrigue of Pac's first fight back after KTFO6 against Rios (a selling point) and he fought a cautious fight against him.
The Rios fight was a chance for Pac to sell to the public that the explosive Pac was still in him. The Pac to still have the backing of the casuals through exciting firepower display, and he did'nt back that up.

The Rios fight basically was Pac's chance to to sell to the PPV buyer that Pacquiao still made for exciting exposive fights and quite frankly he did'nt deliver.

If you want to watch boxing at is cautious finest, you watch Mayweather not Pacquiao, even the casuals get that.

 

625 would still be a helluva lot. It wasn't that long ago that above 300k was considered good. I see Pac JMM V still do a million.
