Personally speaking I think this will be the best fight coming up as opposed to the Calzaghe - Hopkins fight that has anti climax written all over it.Clinton is a tough cookie been through a few wars and I think Tarver is underestimating him

I hope to God he knocks the 'Magic Man' out. I never rated Tarver anyway and I am amazed he won an Olympic medal and won at the World Amateur Championships. Someone with that pedigree should be a lot better.....but then again, look at Audrey.

Would be so good if Woods wins.

Woods will win this fight. Im sure of it.
However, if its anywhere near close Tarver will get the decision, be warned!

Woods has had a few dodgy decisions of his own in the past though, so he cant really complain if he gets jobbed this time for a change.

You reckon Dunky? I think Tarver will win a close (ish) but clear decision. 116-113 or summat like that.

Sorry my good man, I edited my post a bit there, so dont know what version you read!

Im sure Woods has enough to beat Tarver. To be honest, I dont see any way Tarver can win this fight except by dodgy decision.

I have to warn you Dunk, I'm on a roll. I've got my last two picks right, Rees-Kotelnik and Casa-Katsidis...;)

Well, I too picked Rees to lose, & did warn the aussies that although Cassamayor is shot to ****, I doubted Katsidis was the real deal after his brutal war with Amonsot, when Katsidis hit the guy with every shot in the book & coudnt put him away, & was dragged into a war. After the warning shots of the Earl struggle, Katsidis failed to impress, & was dismantled by a man who is way past his best & who Amir Khan will defeat easily if Warren delivers.

I should call you anti-english for not picking one of your own to win Gaz;)

The vast majority(including me) had Woods winning the last Johnson fight so that wasn't quite touch and go . It was close but imo(and most others from polls done on here) think Woods edged it .

Now the draw he got against Johnson the first time , that's another story .

Theres hoping for a Brit win and then theres picking the winner in a fight. Two different things!!;)

I looked at Casa-Kat the same way as you. Casa is way past his best but Katsidis was having wars with very average fighters in world terms, guys Casa wouldn't have struggled with at all.

I hope Woods wins. He's my current favorite boxer. A tough lad who is willing to fight anyone, who has made his career the hard way and who is a genuine good guy. Come on Woods! Do Yorkshire proud.

In all fairness though dude, Rees Kotelnik wasn't difficult to predict. Good call on Casa though:good
