Watched the presser yesterday and thought Woodstock and his team came over poorly. Only seen a few of his fights and didn't seem particularly good. Not seen anything of Sharp is he any good?
Woodstock is bang average imo. The fight with Proxan was a life and death sort of fight with an area level fighter. Not seen much of Sharp but was a promising amateur. Both got similar records with not much in terms of opponents but I've had 20 quid on Sharp at 11/4. Looks like close to a 50/50 to me on paper and the 1/4 Woodstock is looks very short to me !
Never heard of Sharp but I think Woodstock is a good watch. I don't think he's a world beater but I am a fan. Good size for the weight but not a big puncher. He's probably a bit hittable to make it to the top. I like his style, quite fearless and throws a lot of leather. I think he is probably just trying to create a bit of hype as a bad guy type. Think he can be successful up to British level. How good is Sharp? What is his fighting style? Woodstock is a bit of a jack of all trades, he can do it all but he is not particularly great at anything.
Agree I can’t stand it when a fighter’s entourage start bellowing during press conferences and weigh ins. Leave the talking and the fighting to the boxers.
