one of your better reads ive seen you push...

Khan fought an older version of Judah. Seems like the older they get, fight resilence is also lost.

Stylistically, offense vs defense, this was a good match-up for Khan.

I think all fighters have slight flaws in them. I think you're caught up trying to forcefeed and compare him to another's style, via trainer. Trainers are known to train fighters into a certain style they specialize in, but not perfectly. It becomes a sum of the fighter's natural tendencies with the trainer's interjected style.

It seems like Pacquiao's natural tendencies seemed to have synched perfectly with Roach's style. Obviously not so much with Khan, but just as obviously, he's pretty successful using it. He needs a bit of fine-tuning and experience in it, but if you nit-pick everyone else like you did to him, who doesnt then?

To tell you the truth, im still enjoying the moment and fact that Khan resoundingly beat Judah, than stepping out of the experience so quickly to over-analyze petty stuff. Its like eating a good candybar but staring at the calories & fats information while trying to enjoy it the entire time. There's a good bit of yin/yang thing there....

I think If Khan goes to 147, he is gonna find trouble going against Berto, Ortiz and Maybe Jones. Mayweather would easily beat him. Khan should stay at 140, he probably can't lose at that weight.

Void will refuse to fight Khan like he has Pac. Void appears to be putting out lies about Khan being a drug addict. Void should stick to beating up women.

I've often been a bit critical of Khan for many of the reasons stated in the OP, and I'm not particularly inclined to place a lot of stock into a win over Judah. That being said, I did think he looked somewhat more efficient with his movement last night than he has previously. Zab may have helped in part by going backwards so much and throwing so little, as opposed to Maidana, who was constantly coming at him, or even McCloskey, who although also defensive seemed to try to stay in the middle of the ring far more than Judah. On my one viewing of the fight however, it didn't look like Khan was dancing around as much or as widely as I had seen in previous fights.

It would obviously help if Khan was less reliant on his movement to avoid shots, but not hopping around the entire ring every round is definitely a plus. We'll obviously have to see if this continues the next time he faces a pressure fighter or someone less predisposed to shelling up, but I did think it looked like there was greater economy of movement last night.

I think his left hooks were still a little too wide, and it could just be the camera angles, but I swear he was almost communicating to Zab when he is going to release his straight right.

Also, there's something about his punches that make them look almost as though he was too afraid to put more weight on them or he is just too focused on his speed (i.e. emphasis on putting more more snap onto 'em).

No. He taking what's there and not forcing the action. Sometimes i felt he was trying to do too much, like break the punch stat record. He is making sure if he throws they will land. Remember Pacquiao back in the day he was going all out throwing anything like crazy. But he has to let the fight come to him and not force.Set his opponent up so they don't expect it then explode less predictable. What's improved is how he sets his offense up. Head movement, jab, footwork, get different looks.
Stay in control make sure those shots count.Because the kid is quick he will find you and if he catches you standing still he will smash you with combo but he still predictable that's why his opponents can duck his shot.
