Looking forward to this one, face value Rhodes is a decent favourite but if he cannot get Woolcombe out early, I could see him losing rounds looking for the bigger classier shots whilst Woolcombe jabs away and perhaps nicks a few rounds. Not impossible this is very close if it gets to the cards. Any views?
This looks a good fight. Woolcombe definetly has ability but I think an Rhodes can continue his form and pick up a win.
Seen Woolcombe a few times on undercards. Very cautiously matched and very boring fighter, he's never impressed me. I remember him needing some pretty friendly refereeing on the Froch v Magee undercard to squeak past Gilbert Eastman, this being the fight after Lockett had knocked Eastman out in 1. This is a step up for Woolcombe and I can't see Rhodes losing tbh.
