Word is Gamboa is in the gym right now

If has to sign a five year contract to make the fight happen I can understand his reservation. Bob wants to lock him in for the long term which can be good and bad. Nobody can build up a career like Uncle Bob but he does want complete control to map out you career path and gets paid handsomely to do so. I would love to see Gamboa put the smackdown on Bam Bam but not at any cost.

I think him training with PBF can only be a big big step forward interms of his in ring product. Gamboa has slowly started to become a more complete fighter . . . and if he is working with money he is working with the best in that regard. Career wise, it might be a bit of a gamble to go toward team mayweather but he could learn to become the biggest star in the sport . . . only time will tell.

 

so why did he agree to fight rios then?

 

because its his job to be in shape maybe??

 

i understand he doesnt want to sign a 5 yrs contract with TR
but if he already signed with this fight, if he agrees with all the publicity, if he made Rios team to fly all the way to Miami, if he knows his fans are gathering in Miami to support him..he better shows his ass or give a really good explanation about what's going on.

i can see arreola being questioned had he been in the gym with no fight scheduled..his fatass barley trains when he does have a fight signed
