Agreed. Oliver McCall would probably still be there after 12 rounds pretty much in the same condition he was in at the start of the fight.

Dimitrenko & Arreola are both undefeated Heavys who are highly ranked.

If Toney wasn't in his current state then I would have loved to see him in against Wlad.

Toney was pathetic against Peter, a guy who literally is not fit to carry Toney's jockstrap.

But a hypothetical Toney who just rose to Heavy, was fit and motivated at 220 pounds... that would have been worth seeing. I can see him using movement correctly (instead of Chag who ducked and weaved only after getting tagged) and moving in much more effectively (Chag tried but failed to bob and weave his way in, sometimes with an inaccurate lunging punch).
Toney's excellent inboxing may well be countered by Wlad's clinching.
Toney's chin would have seen him last longer than most. But his lack of power at Heavy and his severe size disadvantage make his loss inevitable.

Yet for some reason I would have found the fight fascinating.

To completely clean out the division, the Klitschkos must beat imo:

    Povetkin -- legit contender
    Dimitrenko/Chambers winner -- legit contender
Valuev -- he's **** but boxing needs this oaf to get KTFO
Arreola/Haye -- big time hypejobs w/talent but unproven

Here's how I see it unfolding:

    Wlad tko6 Povetkin
    Wlad tko7 Valuev
    Wlad tko7 Chambers

    Vitali tko5 Arreola
    Vitali KO1 Haye

david tua a 'future prospect'? none of those prospects can be considered yet, they need to beat at least two of the fighters on the above list for a start.

the winner of dimitrenko-chambers faces wlad early next year i believe? you should have put it on your list as dimitrenko or chambers. i wouldnt really want to see ruiz or holyfield fight either klitschko. sure they would try to fight wlad on the inside, but doesnt everybody? i see no chance of either of them managing it. firstly because chagaev has proven he is better then ruiz, and obviously couldn't manage it. secondly because i don't think anyone wants to see holyfield get more brain damaged than he already will be in a few years, i doubt repeated jabs and straight rights from wladimir would do him much good health-wise, and taking bombs from vitali would be even worse.

valuev will not be allowed to fight either klitschko. haye missed his chance at wlad, but may get the oppotunity with vitali in september. same goes for arreola.

Hater? Wlad and his brother is the reason i got into boxing.

The fact of the matter is, I would like to see how would Wlad handle another Corrie Sanders like fight, and whether he has this glass chin we all suppose he does.

Bad list. Sure it is. But what else will there be to do if they beat Arreola, Chambers/Dimitrenko, Povetkin, Haye, and Valuev. Thats why I made that list. Its the best (at the moment--2 years can change a lot of things) we got.
