hey all, im looking for some ideas for workouts i can do to maintain fitness while I cant walk after having an operation on my legs.
Right now I can just about get around on crutches, so far all Ive been doin are workouts with dumbells; bicep curls, tricep ext, front and side raises.I know there probably isnt much else I can do but im for some suggestions. thanks

I'd wait until I could do an actual routine. The lifts you listed are pointless.

imo doing somthing is better than doing nothing at all, partly so I dont get too out of shape and partly so I dont get lazy, also its alot more fun than watching daytime tv

Arm curls and tricep extensions won't prevent you getting "too out of shape" you'll be out of shape because you can't box or do any cardio. Recover, then slowly get back into it.

bench press, you dont need your legs for that if you got your own bench and can work from home.

You need your legs to establish a solid base. The people who bring their legs up because they think it isolates their chest more don't have a clue.

Very dangerous advice. Your feet should always be on the ground when you bench.
