Doe's anyone have any advice on working your way inside on taller fighters with long reachs? I'm training at a gym here in Germany (4 months)and my german isn't so good, so it's hard to ask these type questions there. Any thing legit would be greatly appreciated.

There are many ways. The most important thing is head movement, if you walk in like a stiff prepare to get hit. Don't forget to punch, otherwise head movement is just delaying your execution.

What if your opponent doesnt punch at all and just punches when he sees an opening?

Jabs, feints, move your head, high guard(pick off those jabs), come in at an angle.

Hands up high (Thats higher then you would agianst other opponents your size) and keep your stance low. You want your hands to be out away from your face so you can see you opponents punches coming and be able to catch, block and parry them so you can give yourself a chance to get inside.

Try and work your way in by throwing quick punches like jabs and one twos. Constant while moving your head and changing up angles. Got to make it confusing for your taller opponent and keep him guessing.

When you attack always finish with a jab to the head. Try a step back jab. It doesn't have to land but as long as you have thrown it after you made you attack it will stop him from coming straight in and hitting you.

slip, strt right, left hook combos. I'm a tall fighter and I usually can throw hooks all day at shorter fighters and land at will. recently ran into a guy 6'5" and started out throwing the hook.. Oops. Boy did it look stupid when it missed. and it missed almost every time. It'd cross my body and tie me up.

Soon figured out that slippin and stepping past his jab and nailing him with a strt right was the way to go. that would take his head into a proper shortened left hook that actually now worked.
