When I'm doing a boxing specific workout, it's usually a hip hop playlist consisting of Wu-Tang, Gang Starr, Nas, Big Pun, Big L, Biggie, Cam'Ron, etc. The rhythm of hip hop feels most appropriate in this instance. When I'm doing weights and hardcore endurance stuff I like metal - Pantera, Sepultura, Biohazard, Vision of Disorder, Hatebreed, etc. When I'm doing roadwork, as ridiculous as it sounds, I play the Rocky Soundtrack on repeat for my entire run - for some reason, it helps me run better than anything else...
