Workouts from boxings greatest champs

    Terry Norris Wins 47, losses 9, draws 0

    Warm up 20 minutes of full body stretching

    Shadowboxing: 4 x3 min rounds - 30 sec breaks

    Sparring: 12 x 3 min rounds - 30 sec breaks, Terry worked up to his level over a six week training camp

    Floor to ceiling bag 4x3 - 30 sec breaks

    Heavy Bag 4x3 minute rounds - 30 sec breaks

    Jumping Rope: 12 min

    Warm Down: 5 minutes

    To Finish, Rest massage shwower and rest

    Nice.

    Norris is the only fighter I ever heard of that sparred 12 rounds every other day in preparation for fights.

    HAHAHA. By the looks of this thread, why dont you just post the entire contents of the book.

    I know. And I've been saying this in my head for quite a while now. The training regimen outlined in that book seemed very general. I think the coaches just dont disclose a lot of methods which they use to refine the skills/traits of the fighter, for the sake of protecting their own wallet.

    Its interesting to note that most of these fighters are getting 8-10 hours a sleep a day according to the schedules.

    Thats pretty good.
