Bottom of the hour. (as of 3 hours from now...aka broadcasting @ 3:30am EST)

    Live stream:

(I'm going to catch 40 winks and set my alarm for about 4:30 to hopefully catch the last three bouts. I wish Ruenroeng vs. Lobetania was the co-main event, as I'm way more interested to see it than Frese vs. Nguyen and would rather sacrifice the latter to extra sleep...but eh, this whole thing is being staged at the most horribly awkward, inconvenient time of day possible for my time zone :sisi1)

Welcome to my world when it comes to the RCC cards. I’m skipping the first 7 or 8 bouts of the RCC card today and only waking up for the end lol

The production value of the DAZN broadcast is shockingly crisp compared to what I’m used to from Thai boxing cards (not that it matters at all lol just caught me very off guard)

Wow, the commentary is hideous. The guy sounds like he just got done gargling with razor blades.

    Round 1 Nguyen 10-9, close

Volume from Nguyen, working the body, Frese landed sharper wok, but not enough.

Having checked Nguyen’s record, there’s not really much there that indicates his level, but at least two of his fights have come against Japanese opponents and a third against a Vietnamese opponent so none were intended to be easy wins to build up his record at all. They appear to be earned lol

    Round 1: 10-9 Frese

Frese more accurate, landing crisp jabs and solid 1,2 combinations. Nguyen busy but not accurate enough to come close enough.

I’m definitely pulling for Nguyen, just based on the fact that there aren’t many Vietnamese boxers who get a chance to perform on a stage with this many viewers lol. Would be a nice little win for Vietnamese boxing especially since they’re trying to develop the pro ranks a bit more over there the last year or so

    Round 1 Nguyen 10-9, close
    Round 2 Frese 10-9

Nguyen picked up where he left off, but Frese turns it on a minute in, starts pressing forward unloading combinations, landing uppercuts and hooks around the guard aplenty.

    Round 1: 10-9 Frese
    Round 2: 10-9 Frese close

Nguyen starting really busy and aggressive, landing body shots, uppercuts and some other combinations, he's almost throwing only combinations, no single shots. Frese taking over after 1,5 minutes, high volume and pressure, landing the better shots imo, very close round. Could go either way. Frese just more accurate on my card so he edged it.
