Frese drops Nguyen with a huge left hook to the body after he landed hooks to the head before and afterwards but the body shot was the crucial one. Nguyen hurt badly, doesn't make it back, the ref waves it off after a few seconds.

 

I guess that probably should have been expected. Once Frese turned it on, it wasn’t really a contest anymore.

 

Good to see the Thai grandmothers dancing and having a great time during the commercial break. Honestly Thailand mystifies me more and more every time I watch boxing there

 

Damn main event time already. I really hope they show some of the fights other then the main and co-main. Even though Ghassemi will probably lose in horrible fashion, he represents one of like 5 opportunities I have annually to watch an Iranian actually box

 

Sometimes with these Workpoint cards, they start with the co-main and main and then show the rest after. I can never tell if they’re prerecorded or actually live but I’m guessing that at the very least the Thai broadcast will show his fight if DAZN doesn’t

Petchmanee working the jab, not quite effectively. Suito pretty awkward, jumping in and throwing some wild shots, also working the body. Petchmanee looking much better in the second half of the round, landed a very good left hook, the best shot of the round, but the Japanese edged it with activity.

Suito again starting very well, high volume puncher with an awkward style but Petchmanee took over in the second half of the round and landed some hard and good shots, he did some damage there.
