To the commentators, please don’t compare Ghassemi to Lennox Lewis in anyway lmao

    Round 1: 10-9 Ghale
    Round 2: 10-8 Ghale

Ghale beating him up and drops him with a big right. Ghassemi looks done but makes it back, Ghale finishes with a flurry of huge shots but Ghassemi survives.

This is paltry from Ghassemi lmao and please, being the bronze medalist in the Iranian amateur tournament is really not a decorated amateur career IMO

Ghassemi is actually having a pretty good round after what was a virtual disaster in round 2. At least he doesn’t appear to be close to quitting

    Round 1: 10-9 Ghale
    Round 2: 10-8 Ghale
    Round 3: 10-9 Ghale close

Ghassemi doing a bit better, working the jab and using his height & reacht advantage a bit more, but Ghale still landing big shots, he's much biser and his power is clearly stunning Ghassemie everytime he connects.

    Round 1: 10-9 Ghale
    Round 2: 10-8 Ghale
    Round 3: 10-9 Ghale close
    Round 4: 10-9 Ghassemi close

Fight is slowing down. Both working the jab and looking for single big shots. Ghassemi looked a bit better this time.

I’m probably a bit biased and hopeful but I think Ghassemi may have stolen the round at the end

Even though it may be a bit politically incorrect and probably just an unwise assumption, I actually do agree with the commentary that it’s kinda surprising to see a Nepalese fighter gas so badly when you consider the altitude they’re accustomed to and all that.

    Round 1: 10-9 Ghale
    Round 2: 10-8 Ghale
    Round 3: 10-9 Ghale close
    Round 4: 10-9 Ghassemi close
    Round 5: 10-9 Ghale close

Close round. Ghassemi looked slightly better but Ghale might stole the round in the last few seconds with a flurry. Very tough to score. But Ghale is gassing badly.

Commentary has it 3-2 Ghassemi but Ghale has a knockdown so 46-46 would be their score. Even though I’m pulling for him, I’m not sure I agree

    Round 1: 10-9 Ghale
    Round 2: 10-8 Ghale
    Round 3: 10-9 Ghale close
    Round 4: 10-9 Ghassemi close
    Round 5: 10-9 Ghale close
    Round 6: 10-9 Ghale close

    59-54 Ghale

Ghale had two strong rounds (1&2), Rds. 3-6 were swing rounds where Ghale did land the harder shots but Ghassemi looked a bit more accurate overall. Tough to seperate them there. I can see wide range of scores here.

Nevermind, I guess I heard wrong. Commentary just said he had Ghale winning by a couple rounds

I think you’re probably right, maybe one more round could be given to Ghassemi but I think you have to give two clearly to Ghale and edge two or three to Ghale

What a fucking shitshow. I woke up as planned around quarter of 5 only to see the main event was more than half over so I shrugged angrily, rolled over and resumed snoozing...under the assumption that I'd missed the whole card. I didn't realize Workpoint does it Telemundo style...from top of the bill down. :BangHead:

So basically from the sound of it, Petchmanee is a legit prospect and Ruenroeng didn't so much turn back the clock as "Bahawi" Lobetania essentially lived up to all the worst possible interpretations of his Drunken Tornado moniker? :sisi1
