Its unlikely Chambers will beat Wlad ... if that happens then it will be a big surprise.
However the odds like 10-1 are he will end up like the other countryfolks before him.

So who else on the US soil have chance to dethrone one of the Klits?
All of the Thompsons, Austins, Johnsons were already exposed,
probably Areeola would have a chance against Wlad if he beats Adamek first.

So ... who else is on the US radar?

Theres no one else currently on the radar, unless you want to get into the Mike Mollos of the world. As is well known US HW boxing is impoverished. Maybe Dawson will add some meat and give these heavies some hope. On paper he could outwork either Klit, if he keeps his chin out of the way.

I have no clue. I always though Briggs had a chance to beat Wlad within the first 3 rounds, where he is extremely dangerous in. I think a fighter with power, chin, and aggression can take Wlad out if they blitzed him properly. I don't know too many fighters that could pull it off though.

Dawson have some mayor drawback at higher weight classes ... chin.
I think the highest Dawson can go is the Cw to fight with Cunningham.

Thats what i think as well and the Cunningham fight would be awesome imo. Than again, Adamek did it and Dawson's frame is a bit longer too. And once you get to CW, the call of the HW is sometimes too hard to resist.

Briggs screwed himself from the moment he started over dosing on the roids. He became an inflexible statue who runs out of gas in 3 rounds.

Agreed, but the man is extremely dangerous early in fights. Lennox almost was put to sleep early in his fight with him. Briggs still has the most first round knockouts of any heavyweight champ over the last 50 years. 60% wins come by 1st round knockout.

That was the old Briggs. The new Briggs is extremely immobile and just swings away randomly from round one. The guy has power but has totally restricted his ability to use it.

He's a good counter puncher as well. Can be very devastating with his hooks. I remember watching his fight with Lyakhovich about 3 years ago. He was doing what Brewster couldn't, which was making his oppenent fearful of his power. When Briggs finally did manage to back Sergei into a corner, he ended up blasting him through the ropes.

But the thing that this was 3 years ago and Briggs is doing nothing since then is remarkable

Are we really having a discussion where people actually would give Shannon Briggs any chance against Wlad? Ok i'd love more than anything to see an American KO Wlad, Vitali, and Haye in a row but that's a pipe-dream and I know it. I held onto Wlad's glass jaw for so long, but if the man doesn't get hit then his chin doesn't matter, Roy Jones proved that for 15 years. Unless you find a man similar to Wlad's size (i.e. AT LEAST 6'5) who's mobile and can counter Wlad's jab then we're not going to see him lose for a few more years. Briggs is only 38 (kinda sad how that's not too old these days), 6'4 and does have an 80 inch reach but I don't know that he woudl have ever had a chance against Wlad. I mean the man hasn't had a meaningful fight since Ibragimov (yes the same Sultan that Wlad dominated) beat him by UD. His last meanginful win was in 2006 with the last round KO (while being behind) of Lyakhovich. Prior to that we have him beating a 44yo Ray Mercer in 2005, a loss to McCline in 2002, he beat some nobody in December and then tested positive for whatever and had the decision changed to an NC. If Shannon Briggs is our hope then...............
