If Conlan wins gold he should turn pro. The best amateur Euro prospect IMO.

id have savon and levit as basically joint gold medal favorites, Savon 'beat' levit in the wsb but in fairness it was a bit of a robbery levit was battering him

The amateurs are boxing in its purest form.

Really think Joe Ward will beat De La Cruz this time. He has matured a lot since then his style is much more compact now and dosent leave himself open with his wild shots.

De La Cruz reminds me of prime RJJ, with his style.

i agree too ,also his tactics for that first fight were terrible. however moorser if I had to put my house on it id still go for de la cruz

I could also have put O'Reilly as middleweight favourite, he lost a close split decision to that Uzbek before and has improved hugely since then however I don't want to seem bias towards the irish lads and have 3-4 as favorites:good
