You also have a drugs cheat who's currently suspended and the pole who I wouldn't even have in my European top 10 Fowler top 5 after his form over this year is ridiculous, lower top 10 I could agree with but not that
The 9 irish deserve to be in there o'donaghue could easily be taken out the rest deserve there places, Nolan deserves top 10 after his recent showing same argument could be made for Walsh. On the british side Ali is now top 10, an argument could be made for McCormack ,Cordina and ashfaq
Anyway il be doing new top 10 before the world championships soon when I get time, there will be more british in the top 10's around 5 Id say so you will be pleased
Which Irish guys do I have in that havnt done it at major competitions? O'reilly won the euros which had as much talent if not more than the European championships and is only a part time boxer that receives no funding and has barely been a senior and has shown a ton of ability , and was actually robbed against fowler in one of his first senior fights Fowler is Definetly top 10 and Id hav him in my top 5 but his completely lost his way thinks his already the golden child and is already a pro, he went from using his boxing skills and setting up his shots to trying to steamroll guys and thinking his levels above guys his not, that's why his been losing. Il be bringing out new rankings before the worlds and there will be more british boxers in them but fowler still won't be top 10. It's actually fans like you already calling him the next superstar that has fed into his attitude that his already too good for the amateurs and can steam roll people
Anyway it's good that there is people like you on here that have a good interst in amatuer boxing too, my list is very current and if you havnt been performing within the last year your not going to be top 10, maybe you base yours more on past achievements . We should do rival lists or work together on one
I don't dislike him however you can't read, I say if have him in there if his form hadn't taken such a dip dye to his attitude, he isn't top 10 based on performances
Ashfaq is different he has great commitment and is making huge improvements all the time, fowler on the other hand is going backwards. I think ashfaq is limited but top 10 becuase he performs and works so hard while fowler is easily top 10 on ability but fights like an idiot and it's not going to change
I don't hate fowler at all btw in fact I think his brilliant high is maybe why I noticed his huge drop in form and huge change in attitude too. He needs to get back to his best and soon and his a huge pro prospect, his heart is already there of course
Ya he beat them 2 years ago when he was dedicated to the am's and fighting at his best btw haertal isn't amazing im either but not now. Ashfaq is at the top of his game right now which is why Id have him in my top 10 fowler is far from the top of his game and fighting badly, iv always said my rankings are very current and what's happening right now, now what happened two years ago
Recent European bronze medal and only lost due to injury. Also performs well consistently in Russia and at every international event he goes too. Commonwealths are a very weak tournament and mean little, nyika won gold and is no where near my top 10 in the rankings
Id put zakaryan,Toledo, sotomayor ahead of him so far, his i. The second bracket with the likes of Walsh etc Petrauskas is out of the top 10 now ,he was mainly there due to his impressive showing at 60kg where he outmuscled opponents but he can't seem to do it at 64kg and looked gassed against mccormack
