They have time, besides they will have US broadcaster if line ups are good.

Taylor is on question. But his absence might make a room for Zepeda. Zepeda will be WBA mandatory after his next fight, so Zepeda will have to decide which road to go if his phone rings.

Well, it´s been 4 months already.
Audience Network carried the semifinals in the US. I don't know if they will do so with the finals.

I knew Ramirez was confirmed out a while ago, however Kalle mentioned on Saturday there was an outside chance of getting him still.

Oh, i doubt they will have issues there. Supposedly the purses wont be as big, which is reasonable.
But i hope we finish S1 before S2 begins. Would be kinda weird otherwise.

I'm sorry, Jose Zepeda is set to face so his participation is unlikely.

The WBSS needs to suck up and take the loss, money is their part of the equation. The fight should be long scheduled and properly promoted while WBSS is hot.

So what, magical arabian money disappeared once more? In the end, if Russia can offer the money with a guarantee of an independent (non-Russian) governing body with random official selection, it makes sense to do in Russia, as any fight makes sense where the most money is, even if that's a hard pill to swallow for Usyk. I'm sure he's looking forward to the largest purse of his career, and nothing is better to promote piece than a sports event. He don't need to bring politics to the sport.

It won't be because of Usyk being diva.

Well, the WBSS can´t really take a loss if they don't have the money to deliver the guaranteed purse.
And on Usyk, he himself can ignore the politics. But Usyk sells a lot of tickets in Ukraine, and you know his fans will travel to Russia.
The issue is more with the fans.

Issues are with is political beliefs. But the fact is that would earn more money than ever have earned by fighting final in Russia. But of course he won't fight there and will fight elsewhere where he will earn far less.

There's gonna be a football world cup in Russia, I mean if 80k drunk patriots can be handled via Russian authorities, I'm sure they can separate Ukrainian and Russian fans in a 10k venue and provide safety. It's a non-issue. Sanctioning and governing is.

Usyk is not going to fight in Russia because of his political beliefs.

Just a part of the equation.
