3-1 groves. Smith is stupid. Question is if Groves can survive 12 at this pace. If he can he wins this. The late game changes things because of size discrepancy.

Alright, this is boring and Groves is looking a lot worse than I expected. Whoever claims the Ali Trophy is going to be a million times less a p4p fighter than either of the WBSS cruiser finalists, so...I'm out. Going to do the main event on the South African card, since I started it.

 

Close round bit Smith again for me. His counters rights were better than Groves jab.

On topic of the fight, I'm getting the feeling that Groves is going to get stopped here and blame it on the heat.

 

Atmosphere is so quiet can hear Joe G's constant warbling. not good.

Groves just skimming it with work rate, Callum giving Groves way to much space

 

Groves engine in no trouble boxing at this pace, he could do this all day. You do get the feeling Smith could hurt him though

 

Smith is landing some nice shots but he's not throwing enough to definitively win most of these rounds. That was a clear round for Groves.

 

Groves lookes a bit shell shocked ... Cant find the range...maybe its the shoudler? Or smith is just that good???

 

Overall I think Groves is landing more but can see Smith getting these first 4 rounds from judges.

Smith didn't do enough for me in this round, close one though.
